But, it might be best for me to visit on a trip home alone, from somewhere up in that neck o' the woods, so I can dress appropriately in private and change before getting home.

To drive directly from home isn't practical with the better half there. And the distance is about 3 hours, with 4 big problems: I-95, Wilmington, Philly and Northeast Philly. I-95 is my most hated road in the country, which I avoid (along with big cities), particularly in the rush hours, like the plague.

But I do plan to get there someday...even if only in androgynous mode!

Cheers!

Mandy
Mandy Shermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01547323395921637440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6483143481224034343.post-2819825195135093012013-10-14T06:45:50.275-07:002013-10-14T06:45:50.275-07:00From where you are you may be able to make a simpl...From where you are you may be able to make a simple day trip up to New Hope Pa. One of my goals is to ride the old New Hope Steam locomotive while dressed. They had a number of events and I need to try to convince my wife that we can do it while I am dressed.
PatPat Scaleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00148601231866277374noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6483143481224034343.post-79482710537076068622013-10-11T10:51:14.460-07:002013-10-11T10:51:14.460-07:00I think I did this right this time...and hit "...I think I did this right this time...and hit "reply"...

Thanks for the kind words!

That day I just casually "threw myself together" and stepped out in the world, with no major make-up session since I was heading home afterward. With the hot weather, it would probably have melted anyway. I sort of dehydrated, so restroom issues were minimized. It was just a fun day to see and be seen!

I plan to visit the relatives again next year, but I'll find a different nearby railroad to check out, maybe the Middletown & Hummelstown in Harrisburg, or Wilmington and Western in Delaware. And maybe then I'll even be able to find time to ride the train...

Needless to say, I'm ready to go, girlfriend!

Cheers,

Mandy

Mandy Shermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01547323395921637440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6483143481224034343.post-17842636184712109612013-10-11T06:23:31.923-07:002013-10-11T06:23:31.923-07:00I am glad that you had such a nice visit and were ...I am glad that you had such a nice visit and were able to enjoy your twin passions of dressing and checking out the old trains.

You look like the typical lady tourist in the bottom photo and you look like you were having a great time. I do hope that I can do the same some time.

Patscalesmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07405121500560615820noreply@blogger.com
